Fabrics glued in strips
Glued sun protection fabrics are more durable than stitched fabrics. Because no thread is used between the strips, there is no risk of wear and tear on the thread. The sun protection fabric is glued in 120 cm strips, with side hems of 4.0 cm. The top and bottom hems of 3.0 cm are stitched, with Hylas' characteristic double hem for optimal lifespan.

Zoom size | Pocket size | Suitable for tendon | |

Advantages of gluing
No colour difference due to absence of thread
No leakage at hems
No wear and tear of thread
Less ‘waffle' formation
Better joints
Smoother fabrics
Please note that bonded fabrics do not allow reinforcement corners and wide side hems. Side hems may also droop faster.
